    What is Valentine's day?
Valentine's day is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards. - Reference

I personally do not believe in one-day celebration of expressing our affection towards our other one. Love is in the air. Red hearts make us feel like love and happiness is all around. Images of couples hugging and gazing into each other's eyes and we want that. To feel special and cherished. Secretly, hoping that our partners are thinking and doing the same for us. The spirit behind Valentine's Day is beautiful. We all want more of it. Wouldn't it be great if we could make our loved ones feel special most days of the year? Wouldn't it be fantastic if we felt that our loved ones cherished and truly appreciated us everyday? Love is not a one-day thing. SO, start cherishing and expressing your love towards your partner now and not decided to by regretting after losing him/her.

How did you spend your Valentine's 2012?
It is not an embarrassing thing to celebrate such a heartwarming holiday alone. It falls on a Tuesday this year; students might be occupied with schoolwork, working adults might be serving their over-time. Neither it is to celebrate it with friends or family. It is the festival of loving. You can express your endearment towards your close ones too, after all it is the devotion, the care and concern, the desired inclination of the strong bond within. Make it memorable this timing every year since people celebrate this day. You do not have to send them luxurious gifts to let them remember. Small gifts with big efforts placed in like a hand-written/drawn card is always better than diamonds rings that just meant to be a gift.

When I was in school, I baked cookies/cupcakes, melted chocolates, did jellies and exchanged them with my clique. But I'd never treat my boy to a dinner or do such things to him, be it how tight is my budget, I would just try to save up every dollar to get him a little gift; something which he can keep it and remember.

Red roses convey your message of your passionate love for someone like 'I love you', but I never liked to receive roses from anyone. Sounds childish, but I do not like it when it wilts, it seemed like the love within is dying too. However the thought of roses really amazes me, because I have never expected that flowers would have meaning too. In case you are wondering what am I blabbering about, do you know that...

1 rose - Love at the first sight; you are the one.
2 roses - Mutual love between, deeply in love with one another.
    3 roses - I love you.
    6 roses - I wanna be yours.
    7 roses - I'm infatuated with you.
9 roses - Eternal love, together as long as we live.
10 roses - You are perfect.
11 roses - You are my treasured one; the one I love most in my life.
12 roses - Be my steady.
    13 roses - Secret admirer.
15 roses - I am truly sorry, please forgive me.
20 roses - Believe me, I am sincere towards you.
21 roses - I am devoted to you.
24 roses - Can't stop thinking about you, 24 hours everyday.
33 roses - Saying "I love you" with great affection.
36 roses - I will remember our romantic moments.
40 roses - My love for you is genuine.
50 roses - Regretless love, this is.
99 roses - I will love you for as long as I live.
100 roses - Harmoniously together in a century; remaining devoted as couple till old age.
101 roses - You are my one and only love.
108 roses - Please marry me!
365 roses - Can't stop thinking about you, each and everyday.
999 roses - Everlasting and eternal love.
? Cool, and if I could have my own rose plantation I would have harvested 2085 roses for E by now. ;)
